Nick Carter of The Backstreet Boys has two seperate places in Florida to call home these days. Having made Apollo Beach his home for several years now, Nick has more recently decided to add Key Vaca, in the Florida Keys as another dream community to call home.
Apollo Beach, located in Hillsborough county, is part of the greater Tampa, Florida area. Two prestigious communities located in Apollo Beach, and nearest to Nick, are the communities of Andalucia and Symphony Isles. |
Andalucia is a community of about 230 homes. It offers all of the amenities you would expect from a premiere community: tennis courts, a swimming pool, marina, a small beach, and a jetty that extends out into Tampa Bay.
Lots are priced starting out at around $60,000 for interior, up to around $400,000 for waterfront. The price range for homes in Andalucia is roughly $300,000 up to $1.7 million. Symphony Isles is gated community primarily made up of waterfront homes, and includes townhomes and condominiums. Lots are currently priced from about $100,000 up to $350,000, with homes selling from around $250,000 on up to just under $900,000. Nick's second home is a $1,000,000 home located on Key Vaca, which is one of the many islands that make up the Florida Keys. Vaca is the Spanish word for "cow". It is believed that this key was originally named after the manatees, also known as "sea cows", that live in abundance there. With the inviting ocean waters practically being right outside your doorstep, it's not difficult to see why such a dedicated boating enthusiast as Nick is reported to be, would choose these two areas call home.
